As the world evolves, so does the understanding of every individual that changes their perception about a certain thing which results of having a pros and a cons to it- so does orality and literacy are not an exception. But as time goes by, there is an issue that arises when it comes to the inferiority between the two forms of languages. But how can a person say that orality is better than literacy or literacy is better than orality? Orality is a form of language which is dependent on being spoken verbally that it turned out to be a form of communication by using different mediums and being carry out orally instead of being written down while literacy is the capability of an individual to read and write in a scholarly form. The speakers intention can be fully felt in orality and is a primary source but we all know that when it is being passed on to different generations, it can be revised or forgotten but in literacy, what stated there can be passed through different generations precisely without a twist but they do not know the true emotions of the speaker. Even though both of them differ on how they are being used, orality and literacy comes hand in hand. There is no inferiority that is present to them but rather, it is more a partition of a variety of learning which exist in our society today. With the development both has achieved, orality and literacy continue to prosper in society nowadays but no matter how individuals perceive these form of languages, it would always be how one individual can freely express his or her self through and how he or she engage with the subject and what lessons they have learned.
